The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross

This manga made me cry buckets upon buckets of tears. But don't get me wrong. It was amazing.

Plot:
Haine Otomiya is deeply in love with Shizumasa Touga-sama. A former delinquent, she quit her old ways due to the fact that Shizumasa-sama saved her during one wintry evening. However, not everything is as it seems. It turns out, that Haine was adopted, and was a former Kamiya. However, it is discovered later on that she wasn't a Kamiya, but an Otomiya, as her birth mother and adopted father used to be high school sweethearts and gave birth to her. Haine of course, didn't know these facts from the beginning, and always thought that she disappointed her "birth father". In truth, he treasured her dearly.

Another complication was that there was more than one "Shizumasa-sama". The true Shizumasa-sama was weak from an illness, but had a twin brother, who ended up losing his name after a trial, and ended up becoming Shizumasa-sama's "shadow". Takanari-sama (Shizumasa's shadow) was much stronger than Shizumasa-sama, and lost the trial due to Shizmasa-sama's intervention. Nevertheless, Shizumasa-sama had always been in guilt, and Takanari-sama had hated his younger brother.

The last big complication was that both Takanari-sama and Shizumasa-sama had fallen in love with Haine Otomiya, and she had fallen in love with them both. Who will she choose?

Add in a gay couple, cute bishies, kawaii imoutos (just love that Kusame and Tachibana <3), hilarious situations and heart-stopping cliff hangers, making "The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross" have a perfect plot.

Characters

The characters were categorized as either "main" or "everyone else". Basically, the whole manga was about 3 people, with the rest being "fillers". They weren't really important. What was the hierarchy for importance of all the characters?

1. Haine Otomiya
2. Shizumasa Touga-sama
3. Takanari Touga-kun

And everyone else was simple considered "everyone else." Nothing special.
